John Mayer | Love Is A Verb | In Support Of Our Troops
Reblogged solely for the adorable cover art. Song’s pretty good too:)
Because it is St. Patrick’s Day today :p
Found this from a bunch of unreleased/rare mp3’s. Any non-studio version is always nice to have on my streampad :)
God, I miss this man and his live performances… :(
Reason why St. Patrick’s Day hasn’t been added to this mix is that I was waiting for THIS VERSION. Why couldn’t I have heard it before being bombarded with NST? An unpopular opinion in the family most likely but it’s honest. Not only did the time seem a bit off given the World Trade Center devastation but also because at the time when it happened, I was following my dreams and having many doors slammed in my face. Watching hot boy who looked like the first one to destroy me seduce pretty girl in a cute little apartment probably didn’t help either, nor did hearing about John through the MTV interns. Now I just hear something that brings me to tears of joy because it somehow found a way to break through those barriers of defense, or maybe I was finally ready for this beautiful vision of love.
Who’s going to have a little bit of a hangover tomorrow? And I’m not talking about a booze hangover but the kind from so much excitement. Report back okay:) We’re doing a study on the effect of Mayer announcements on dopamine levels. Please and thank you.

The power of I’d Like That.
I need to write this.
I’ve been traveling alone in Japan for the better part of three weeks now, and It’s been so remarkable an experience for me that I can’t book a ticket home yet. I haven’t spoken very much out loud these days, but I’ve been…
