So is this Rosie before John had her tattooed? If yes then she also made an appearance in Something Like Olivia and Til Summer Comes Around. For those keeping track, John used a different guitar at The Gorge [on the latter].
…love I get so lost, sometimes… days pass and this emptiness fills my heart.
John Mayer - Edge of Desire - In Your Eyes intro
Awe John. So hoping for more streams this tour not to miss these sweet moments with you and all who are proximate in physicality. Need this so much. Lots of love.

John Mayer Trio - Wait Til Tomorrow (Jimi Hendrix cover)
This particular show never ceases to amaze me because I tend to over analyze the crowd as well as the Trio and whoever shot this show. There are moment of awesomeness, hilarity and WTF.
When John does this song, I can only think of a few things. One, being Jimi Hendrix’s genius because John does such a great job channeling Hendrix on this song and it also shows how hard it is to play as there are moments where John just barely makes it back into step and TWO, the guitar itself….its a symbol of Jimi Hendrix and those strats truly are a right of passage. This is a great GREAT performance by the JM3 and I always enjoy it. A lot of passion. Check it out!

Blues Run The Game
Cover by John Mayer, 3/26/2010
Written by Jackson C. Frank
Catch a boat to England, baby,
Maybe to Spain,
Wherever I have gone,
Wherever I’ve been and gone,
Wherever I have gone
The blues have run the game.
Send out for whisky, baby,
Send out for gin,
Me and room service, honey,
Me and room service, babe,
Me and room service
Well, we’re living a life of sin
When I ain’t drinking, baby,
You are on my mind,
When I ain’t sleeping, honey,
When I ain’t sleeping, Mama,
When I ain’t sleeping
Well you know you’ll find me crying.
Living is a gamble, baby,
Loving’s much the same,
Wherever I have played,
Wherever I throw those dice,
Wherever I have played
The blues have run the game.
Maybe when I’m older, baby,
Someplace down the line,
I’ll wake up older,
So much older, Mama,
Wake up older
And I’ll just stop all my trying.
Catch a boat to England, baby,
Maybe to Spain,
Wherever I have gone,
Wherever I’ve been and gone,
Wherever I have gone
The blues, they’re all the same.
Love these lyrics and John’s interpretation of the song. Thank you for posting the audio.

Confession #1:
I listen to this performance at least 10 times a day. It’s the 1st song I listen to in the morning and the last one I listen to at night.
This is absolute perfection in my eyes even though yes, he “fucks it up”, and you’re right John, it doesn’t matter.

n3x5:
John Mayer - I’m On Fire/Where Will I Be
This is my favourite live John Mayer song that isn’t recorded…. in fact, i might be my favourite Live song out of all the live songs he has. I think that he plays the guitar in such an amazing beautiful way and its like going to a therapy session.. it instantly chills me out and i forget everything as soon as the song starts. I also love the part right as he goes from I’m On Fire to Where Will I Be.
I can’t even describe properly how much i love this song. It genuinely is the best thing in the world. I think its incredible how he can instantly make someone forget all their problems just by doing what he does.
Voodoo Child with Machine Gun Intro from Tampa on September 10th 2010. They are all well executed but after having some time to watch, which version of this song from last summer would you put on a Battle Studies Live Compilation? Starting with the end of the summer and moving backwards, we have… 1. West Palm Beach, 2. Tampa, 3. Atlanta, 4. Dallas, 5. Red Rocks, 6. Utah, 7. Irvine, 8. Chicago, 9. Saratoga Springs Nine times they played it? Now for the best of audience participation while filming. I think this one might win.
Whose balls require licking to get a better recording of this?
