Due to sheer persistence. Just not the doors I was hoping for unless of course I wanted to give porn a shot. Maybe behind the camera but all kidding aside, most of those paths I wanted to take required some kind of internship which I was unaware of at the time. Keep in mind this was before many companies posted job opportunities online.
